Déjà Vu

Déjà Vu

Without realizing it, we settle for living prefabricated images, subtly inserted by the media and society in a collective déjà vu. The human being becomes a manipulated product...and inevitably its own ability to distinguish true from false becomes just another manipulation - reaching a point where the life and the lies melt and merge in an endless loop we are trapped in.

The images of this project are presented in a diptych form:
At the one side is the original movie scene [Ref 1] showing the actors playing to be a photographers; at the other side is the photograph they supposedly did. The last ones were staged and taken by me, joining the game to confuse a lie for the truth ...or maybe the other way around ? the truth for a lie...

At the same time I'm also in front of the camera in all the photographs - crossing from the one side to the other over and over again without chance to escape.

Singularity

Singularity

In the field of physics, "the singularity" is the point within a black hole where all physical laws, as we know them, cease to apply. A modern science cannot determine what might happen at that point… what effect the singularity could have on an object or a life form…
Among many theories, there is one that beyond the singularity exist tunnels - shortcuts interconnecting the different universes…

Out of Blue

Out of the Blue

"…that moment when you immerse into the sea…and right there, somewhere in between… between the sky and the sea, where two worlds collide and where the light refracts discovering hidden places… where disappear the squeak of the seagulls… and the new sounds appear… murmurs of the millions of the oxygen molecules slipping over your face under the pressure, humming of the old fishing boats gliding slowly… Blue water closes over… I am sinking slowly, weightless… deeper, closer…"
